  Eeewwwwww... Terrible service & only half decent food which the owners claim is homemade but the waitress told me they resell other local business' entire entrees as if they were their own.
  Anyway, I assume the nice reviews are friends because the drinks are weak and way overpriced too.
  If I were looking for a better time you might want to check out the CrowBar or the La Casita as I am a local and find these establishments to be fun friendly and cultured. Plus they are only a block away from this dive.

  I have lived near the Lyric bar and restaurant for years. I honestly LOVE the place.
  I'm not sure what caused the problem the person below me had but I'm sure it wasn't the food. Folks have to realize that things arise once in a while. Perhaps a sewer line broke? Maybe a person on the bar side had a little too much to drink and couldn't keep it down? Just because they saw a steak (which looked good to them) go back in the kitchen doesn't mean the smell came from that. Who knows if it was just under or over cooked?
  Anyway, The Lyric has always been a favorite place of mine. The food has been fresh, well cooked and seasoned, and the portions are more then generous.
  Wing night is on Thursdays, a dozen with celery and choice or ranch or blue cheese is just $3 and change.
  So come stop by, give the place a try and enjoy!
